AVIAM Limited is a company incorporated according to the laws of the British West Indies as of September 1999. Prior to this date, it conducted business under the name of Airline Service Manino’s, S. A.
The nature of its purpose is the provision of exclusive ramp ground handling services to all commercial, general and executive aviation customers. Such services include, but are not limited to: aircraft towing, loading and off-loading of passenger’s baggage and commercial cargo, cabin service cleaning, lavatory and water services, air conditioning, auxiliary electrical and pneumatic services for engine start, passenger enplane and deplane facilities as required, etc. In addition to these services, AVIAM Limited will act as retainer agent on behalf of "Corporación Aeroportuaria del Este (CAE)", the Punta Cana Airport operator, in regards to some passenger airport and aeronautical fees.
Based on its reputation of extraordinary leadership and quality management, the success and experience initially achieved at Punta Cana has enabled AVIAM Limited to further pursue the possibilities of expanding its business formula through the extension of its services to other commercial airports within the Dominican Republic.
On February 2006, AVIAM Ltd. executed an agreement with "Aeropuertos Dominicanos Siglo XXI (AERODOM)" for the provision of ramp ground handling services at La Isabela, Dr. Joaquin Balaguer Airport, located in the northern part of Santo Domingo.
AVIAM Ltd expanded its ramp ground handling services to President Juan Bosch Airport, located in the municipality of El Catey, Province of Samaná, on November 2006, through the execution of an additional agreement with "AERODOM".
